Grant Application Information
The Komen Tri-Cities Affiliate is proud to announce the availability of grant funds for fiscal year 2009. Applications for breast cancer and breast health programs from nonprofit organizations, governmental agencies, and educational institutions in the following counties of Tennessee, Virginia and North Carolina are eligible for funding: TN - Carter, Greene, Hancock, Hawkins, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi,Washington; VA - Buchanan,Dickenson, Lee, Russell, Scott, Smyth, Tazewell, Washington, Wise; NC - Avery, Madison, Mitchell, Watauga, Yancey.
Our next grant cycle runs from April 1, 2009 through March 31, 2010. Requests for Application must be received by the Komen Tri-Cities Affiliate by February 2, 2009 and must be sent electronically. Full instructions regarding the Request for Application will be available with the application on our website and available for download by clicking here.
To assist organizations in the grant writing process, we are offering a free workshop on November 19, 2008 from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Conference Center Elm Room. Registration is required. We encourage you to attend if you are interested in applying for a Grant.
