Affiliate Volunteer Committees

Our Board of Directors is responsible for providing the overall direction of the Tri-Cities Affiliate.  There are five active committees that many of our Board Members have taken the responsibility to Chair.  These are Education, Race, Grants, Public Policy & Public Relations.  We need a wide variety of volunteers to fill positions in each of these unique areas.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help us get the word out about the Wacoal Fit for the Cure Event, scheduled for April 16th, 2009, at Belk's in Johnson City.

Other current needs are volunteers who would like to work at our booth at trade show, conferences and third party fundraisers in the Tri-Cities area.

Our local Tri-Cities Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure has dedicated volunteers who work with our Education, Race, Grant & Public Relations/Communication Committees.  We welcome all volunteers to explore their talents, skills and interests to assist in one or more areas.  It is because of the tremendous support of our volunteers that we have been successful in providing for the needs of underserved women in our 22 county service area.
