How to Apply for Funding

The Tri-Cities Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is proud to announce the availability of grant funds for fiscal year 2012-2013.  Applications are now being accepted.  Breast cancer and breast health programs of non-profit organizations, governmental agencies and educational institutions in the tri-state (TN, VA, and NC), 23 county region service area are eligible to apply for grant funds from the Affiliate.

The promise of Susan G. Komen is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures.  Komen runs one of the most innovative, responsive grant programs in breast cancer today.  The Tri-Cities Affiliate is proud to have contributed over $1.74 million in local breast health and breast cancer education projects since it was formed in 2005.  In addition, it has contributed $275,000 in funds toward the Susan G. Komen for the cure Scientific Research grants program to find a cure.

Request for Applications Deadline, January 20, 2012

Applications must be postmarked by 5:00 pm on Friday, January 20, 2012 and electronic applications must be received by 11:59 pm on Friday, January 20, 2012.
